General: Splice sock designed for splicing cable, synthetic rope, steel wire rope and hose. Consists of two DE socks that are assembled in the middle with a ferull. Can be used for change of non-rotating crane ropes. Two DE socks assembled with swivel should be used when replacing a6 - and 8-wired steel wire rope so that no torque will be transferred onto the new wire rope.

- Warning: Margin of safety is applied to all specified breaking loads. Additional safety factors, depending on area of use should be applied. CERTEX recommends a safety factor of 3:1 for horizontal pulls and 5:1 for overhead pulling. The breaking load varies with the material, shape, and also the diameter of the product.
